Preaching the ‘Good News’ of Jesus Christ – Making Disciples

Mission

We have a contagious passion for mission! We believe there is only one mandate for our Church, and that is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ which is ‘Good News;’ the most important and enriching news any human being can hear. Our ‘mission’ is based on the mandate given in Matthew 28:19 “Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit” teaching them in obedience to follow Christ.

The Five Marks of our Mission are:


• To proclaim the gospel, the ‘Good News’ of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.

• To Teach, Baptise, Nurture and make New Disciples

• To be ‘LIGHT’ and ‘SALT’ by responding to the need of the community

• Be an inclusive church, pursing peace, unity and reconciliation

• Holiness, Wholeness, Balance and Unity 

Vision

Our vision is to be at the Centre of our Community as ‘LIGHT’ and SALT.’ We are committed to actively live out this vision by looking outwardly.
