SAFEGUARDING

Safeguarding is a priority here at Attleborough Baptist Church.

We are committed to following government and the Baptist Union Guidelines on safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.

We work to a formal safeguarding policy which can be seen on request in the church office.

If you have any concerns of the safety of a child or a vulnerable adult you can speak to a Safeguarding Officer

1) Recognise that abuse may be taking place
2) Respond to the concern
3) Record all the information they have
4) Report the concern to a Safeguarding Officer who may, in turn, report it to the statutory authorities
